Wrist Rests

I bought this because I work at a computer for 50 hours a week and I'd like to a) Keep my wrists feeling as comfortable as possible; and b) Prevent getting carpal tunnel. This was EXACTLY what I needed. It's just firm enough to support my wrists but feels a little bit squishy and overall comfortable. It has a good weight to it and the material on the bottom sucks it to the desk so it doesn't slide around, however it's easily movable if you need to change its position.

I purchased this product to replace my previous gel wrist rest that had finally worn out after many months of use. This pad wasn't as good as I hoped it to be. First, the product did not give off a bad odor when I removed it from the box, as others have stated. But the gel is very firm and not very comfortable. I really wanted it to feel like gel, but instead it feels like a dry sponge. I primarily use wrist rests for my elbow. Within two days, I already had a permanent indentation where my elbow commonly rests. After a month of use, I have permanent places on the rest where it has bottomed out all the way. To be fair, it is a wrist rest, so I guess it isn't designed for elbows. The positives are that the neoprene outside is sturdy and the edges seem to hold well (so far). But if you are looking for a gel rest that feels like soft gel, this isn't the product. I am already looking for a replacement for this one after only a month of use.

I've only had this wrist rest for about a week now but I am LOVING it! It's very comfortable and the leathery cover feels really nice on the skin.

The reason why I chose this particular item was due to the other positive reviews on this website, which stated that this wrist rest was very useful in their fight against carpal tunnel. My understanding of carpal tunnel is that it is more severe than tendonitis, as the nerves are also affected. Therefore, I figured that this item would be able to relieve my tendonitis symptoms. Upon receiving this mouse pad, I have found it utterly useless. The wrist rest is not "cushionly" enough to provide any comfort; it feels like it wasn't filled up enough to be functional. In addition, the wrist pillow is short and thus, your wrist will end up resting on the pressure asserted by your desk regardless of the presence of a wrist rest. All in all, I highly disapprove of this mouse pad for fighting wrist injuries. So if a mouse pad with a wrist rest isn't capable of alleviating wrist injury symptoms and was not designed well enough for wrist comfort, then I guess it only serves as a money sink.

I'm a student and am constantly on the computer---- studies, note taking, and even my job requires me on the computer. I started getting carpal tunnel pains. I bought this wrist support to help with my wrist pain and it's been a life saver. I have a Macbook Pro and it does cut down on the trackpad size and occasionally because of this makes my mouse jump. No big deal though because it's worth it.

I bought 2 for my wife (one for work, one for home) and they're perfect.

I'm a programmer, and about a year or so ago my wrists started to hurt. I started doing more wrist exercises and bought one of these wristpads for both work and home - and the pain went away. This is exactly what the doctor ordered, and I've seen great results - highly recommended!

The quality of this thing is phenomenal! NO PROBLEMS whatsoever with an optical mouse or a laser mouse.

I am a technician and i tested this pad with 3 different brand optical mice and a laser mouse, all working perfectly!

one reviewer said this thing smelled bad? Well...sorry there "dude" mine has no scent at all so i cant comment. Perhaps someone rubbed it between their as.s cheeks before sending it to you because they knew you were such a tool anyway.

I love this Handstands cushion because it really alleviated the Tennis elbow injury that I get from the repetitive motion using the mouse. Keeps my wrist elevated at the right height and unexpectedly cool. Even my physical therapist said that I can rehab my wrist/elbow but if I keep injuring it then the pain will continue to bother me. With this cushion, I find that there is minimal pain if any at all, so I'm very happy I got this and I've recommended it to others with similar injuries.

It really has saved the skin on my hand from getting dry. Understand though, I used to be on the computer 12+ hours a day. I'm on my third one. First one lasted a little over two years, 2nd one lasted less than a year.

The product itself is good but the shipping charged here is ridiculous. I ordered 4 of these for $20.83 and the shipping and handling was $8.95. The box it came in is damaged and I'll be happy to put up a picture depicting how it was sent. The product is good but the overall price is NOT worth it. Not a recommended purchase from this merchant, especially for this high price.
